ANOTHER POST >.>
Paul was (finaly?) doing his schedule this morning, so I went back to working on mine and discovered it had issues (namely, that I had 7 confirmed credits, and 3 more that were waitlisted). So I went back to try and fill in courses I actually NEEDED and its yucky. I need to decide, and stick with, a plan to actually get me graduated.
Courses I NEED:
APPM 4350 (Methods in Applied Mathematics I) (3)
APPM 4360 (Methods in Applied Mathematics II) (3) *Taking next semester
APPM 4650 (Intermediate Numerical Analysis I) (3)
MCEN 4043 (System Dynamics) (3)
MCEN 4037 (Measurements Lab) (2) *HOPEFULLY taking next semester
MCEN 4047 (Mechanical Engineering Lab) (2)
MCEN 4085 (Senior Projects 2) (4) *Taking next semester
MCEN 4228 (TPC-Wind Energy) (3) *Hopefully (but somewhat less like likely) taking next semester
MCEN 4228 Some other ME Tech Elective!
Something like 11 other misc. credits to get to 158 total (double-major requirement)
6-Sigma Black Belt courses:
EMEN 5620 (Data Mining and Screening) *offered next semester
EMEN 5040 (3) (Quality, Strategy, and Value Creation) *offered next semester
EMEN 5042 (3) (Methods for Quality Improvement)
EMEN 5043 (3) (Advanced Topics in Quality Systems/ Engineering)
I would LIKE to get my 6-sigma certification, and have been HIGHLY encouraged to do so by advisory-type people (its a statistics certification, and I want to go into quality analysis), but that would be spending all of those misc. credits on REALLY HARD statistics courses. And besides that, I'm not doing all that well in my current stats class (which is SAD PANDA, because I really like the course).
So I'm kinda thinking I'll desist with the really hard courses, if I still want the certification come back and take it as continuing-ed (or convince my employer to send me back *plots*). And instead take fun courses. Like I'm #2 on the waitlist for Biblical Archaeology next semester, which would be loads of fun. And, y'know, NOT math/science/engineering.
Anyhow, need to go to class now, and then deal with many emo-project groups >.<
