The Karen is not impresed by turbines.

Sooo.... We've known for what, a month? that Wind Energy class has a big project for the last half the semester. We've been put in groups, and we're doing a design of a wind turbine - preliminary design work due the week before Spring break (ie, next week), the final design work due the last week of school. So I contacted my group like waaaaaay back when when we first got assigned to groups, and they all ignored me >.< A few weeks later one of the others actually spoke to me and went "why haven't we started yet?". Well, let's think...

So for about 2 weeks we've been panicking about the fact that none of us really know what's going on in this class... I have been studying like MAD trying to catch up and be able to do everything we need to do... But I can't seem to rely on the others to actually contribute. One of those situations of "yes you try, but I'm going to end up redoing it anyways", even when they DO bother to pass on what they've done.

So it's due on Tuesday, and I'm franticaly trying to scrape together the material for it - I took our last two weeks of "work" and put it into something resembling functionality for the report. One of the other girls has actually started putting together the powerpoint for the presentation. We've got roughly a third of what we need done >.< This isn't going to be pretty.

Already spent 6 hours on it today, and I'll be spending a LOT more on it over the course of this weekend. Ick.
